My reply to 'For sale by owners' forum is not allowed

I have faced today a peculiar problem. My attempt to reply to a thread in 'For sale by owner' category is not allowed. But I do not face any problem in replying to any other threads in other categories. Request Administrator to look into the reason and allow me to post in 'For sale by Owner' also.

amitnoida, Replying to for sale threads has been blocked a week or so ago. One can take the PM route for any negotiation, discussion. And it seems if you want to discuss about the product/deal on offer, you could do so by making a thread about it in the AV lounge/ General Lounge sections, afaik.

Thanks Iaudio. Yes you are correct. I have checked the replies to various 'For sale by owner' threads and found that in last one week, there is no reply to any threads in this section other than the postings from the thread initiator himself.

I'll be "wanted" if I go on with this (and I do acknowledge the mods' right to rule) but, in my view, without free and open speech, there is no market place. If a seller occasionally finds that inconvenient, then tough.

Some sellers do not have the basic courtesy of replying to your PM; mind you, the PM is not to reduce the price which could be construed as low balling.

I faced the same problem , anyway now its cleared, if PM is the way, shouldnt the message limit be increased a bit, plus a pop up for every new message will be good ....
