Need A New Television

friends,

somewhat, i am standing in front of two models.
1. Samsung LA32D450G1 (For Rs 23500/-)
2. LG LK311 (For Rs 21500/-)

Which is better(i know samsung will be better, but is 450g1 have more options than 311 to spend another 2k? :sad?

please help me to select one.

And also please suggest your advices regarding Toshiba 32PB1E for 17K. is it supported movies in USB?

but even if Sony is currently using other panels, the difference appears to be minimal,unlike samsung where u could allmost visibly find the difference,i for one being quite happy with the p.q the cx42 offers w/o much issues...though i dont like to tinker much with s.m,lets c what i can do....btw,there a lot of cx32 owners out here who might be helping here appreciably,if they can!

I own a Sony Bravia CX32 320 Model. I have checked through service menu that it has CMO panel. So there is no confusion on that. check out the photos.

But I can confirm you will never be disappointed by the picture quality of this TV.

dont buy 32incher + models unless you have
- large HD movie collection and HDD media player setup
- not willing to pay for 600Rs on HD channels with STB
- large money (read min 500Rs per movie) backups to spend on Bluray disks
because
- SD videos look very bad in bigger TVs , atleast 32incher u can manage .
ie all video from SD channels , DVD player

Do you face frequent voltage fluctuations or high and low voltages?. If not, no need for stabilizers. But if you need one, consider models from v-guard. They have stabilizers for LCD TVs specifically.

Yesterday i went to the shop and find two models.
One LG 32LK311 @ Rs 21000 and the second is Samsung 32" (forgot the model number) @ Rs.21000

Iam confused between this two. Samsung is more clear but doesnot support video play back from USB. LG supports Divx playback from USB.
what is your opinion friends?

If you prefer the picture in the samsung you have your answer. You can get dvd/media players cheap so thats not a problem. Also i think the price is high , my friend got a LG 32" hd ready lcd for 19k recently from Vijay Sales.

Mate, the panel selection option is changeable so did you try changing it ?. the menu is somewhat confusing and makes to think it has multiple panels because it is changeable. But there can be only one panel in an lcd and i dont understand this option. Plz try changing it and report back. thanx in advance
