Hi All,
I need some advice to put together a set of Floor Standers plus an Integrated Stereo Amplifier/Receiver.
I am primarily interested in Stereo music and not into surround sound, movies etc. I listen mainly to Prog Rock, Classic Rock, Jazz of all kinds, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Western/Indian Classical, and World Music.
In terms of sound, for me, sound staging is very important, balance at all levels, quality bass, but definitely not the thumping rattling bass. Should sound reasonably good when played at low volume levels. Otherwise I'm neutral to warm/bright sort of sounds. I have a decent sized living room, but I keep moving, so things can change.
My budget is around Rs. 1 lakh, plus a little more if required.
I have considered the following equipment
A. Floor standing speakers
1. ELAC Debut F6
2. Q Acoustics 3050
3. ELAC Debut F5
B. Integrated Amp/Reciever
1. Cambridge Audio SR10 v2
2. Marantz PM6006
3.Yamaha A-S700BL
I am open to all suggestions. The above is not a restrictive list.
I prefer a solid Stereo Amplifier (2.1 over 2.0. Good to have the option for a sub) over an A/V Receiver
Thank you all,
John
