Need advise on TUBE upgrade

Sorry for repeating the thread, have made a typo in previous thread's title.

Hi Guys,

Im look out for some upgrade tubes and this is the first time Im dealing with Tubes.

My would be AMP uses 12 Bh7 and 12 Ax 7 for pre-amp and
kt 88 for power. I can find plenty of options for 12AX7 and KT88 so no problems there, however I don't find much of information of options for 12BH7, is there any particular reason why ? Or are there any other number that can replace 12BH7 ?

Alos whats the best site to buy the tubes from.

Tube Gurus please advise.

I bought some recently from Tube Depot. In my amps I use EL 34s and the preamp tubes are ECC 83 ( 12 AX7, I think).

I've had a great shopping experience with tubeman.com. however, I picked the package up in the US itself. not sure if shipping to India would be a safe bet as the tubes are fragile and the packing is not bomb-proof.

upscaleaudio.com is another option. however, they do not accept Indian credit cards.

I recently ordered a pair of EH 6922's from amazon.com and used shop & ship (aramex) to ship to India. No issues with tubes, working great. I guess small pre stage/preamp tubes are safer to ship than larger power tubes and I would like to use this opportunity to say that Aramex has really been performing well for me. Anytime I can't find a small item in India, I just order it through shop and ship, delivered quickly, Rs.650 shipping and customs is anybody's guess, I have paid as low as 200 and as high as 1500. However the access to those markets is invaluable. Parts express sells many items on Amazon so it is awesome to have access to all their stuff.
