for this budget ... you can look at Acoustic Portrait Pre Power.
The Pre is tube based, while the power is solid state.

I have heard this in Cochin (iaudio) and recently at Gvenu's place in Bangalore. Absolutely fantastic performance. AP is Bangalore based co.

With that kind of budget, you could look at the Odyssey Kismet or Stratos series amplifiers, the Symphonic Line integrated amps (need to push the budget a tad bit more), go higher and the Ayon Triton Stereo amp. These amps are what I carry and know well, however you will not be limited by choice in general.
The Symphonic Line especially has been known to pair well with B&W 800 series.

cheers

You can also try pairing the speakers with Nad Master Series Amplifiers like M2 or M3 and you can take a demo of both these combinations at our Delhi Showroom.

hey arent you the same vikas i was talking to about selling my b&w 602 s2?
cool.
why would you want themif you have 804s??!!
lol who am i to ask
anyway, congrats on your awesome speakers, and tel us about which amp you buy...

You need to get directly from Emotiva, or Use ICC world as your buyer, shipper and custom clearer. I got all my Emotiva stuff this way. Hassle free.

If need any pointers drop me a PM, we can discuss over Phone.

Looks like HT Store in Bangalore sell EMOTIVA Products Untitled Document However the XPA1 is way overpriced (1.12 lacs for 1 XPA1). You would be good by ordering directly from Emotiva. I am at the final stage of ordering XPA5 + UMC1 combo directly from Emo and found their support excellent in answering all the questions I had. Also their shipping rate is excellent compared to the weight of the products.

Hi Vikas,

If you have already bought the speakers then congrats. If you havent, then check my post in your other thread of speakers.

Hi Vikas,
About those Vincent SPT100 mono block...
they are good to power your 804s however I unable to test them with good preAmp so can't give you first hand information

on the flip side you must check for the Rotel Amp
forum members will also agree with me that the Rotel and B&W goes very well

Good Luck,
~VijayK

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
