I had an opportunity to listen to a passlab paired with B&W, I felt it lacked punch. However B&W played well with bryston. Pl. try to procure a bryster pre and power combo.

B&W 804 need power to drive them. Look at the Rotel 1572 -250watts X2 (about a lac) plus a Rotel 1550 (about 55) or the 1580 (about 1.15lacs). That will work and give you future proof sound. Rotel is a B&W Group company and that will give you synergy.

Yes you both are right. There has been a for sale thread of him Last year july August for the Amps and the speaker. I purchased the B&W 804 for my cousin sake. As he was interested in getting one pair after seeing my B&W setup. Nice one hyeah:
