Need Help - Bands on my SHARP 42 inch LCD -

hi - I just moved back to India from HK and had bought a 42 inch SHARP Aquos Full HD TV from there...the TV is around 2.5 years old....

Off late I have been getting these vertical transparent bands on my TV which come and go...it does not impact the viewing as such but it is a little irritating to see these bands which then cause a bit of distortion when they appear.

I live close to the sea, is that why these have appeared....any ideas on how to get rid of these...

Is there a SHARP service center here who would help ?

Any suggestion will be extremely helpful...

Banding always has been an issue with the SHARP LCD TVs' panels abroad I've heard. Contact SHARP India's Customer Care and ask for service (hope your LCD is covered under International warranty) and replacement if it does not work.
