New home theatre setup with DENON AVR 1612

Hello all,
Iam new to the HT world. I am planning to set up a home theater system in my living room. I would be using it mostly((90%) for watching movies. After going through a lot of threads, have decided on buying the Denon AVR 1612. Need you suggestions on the 5.1 speaker package that would go well with this receiver. My budget is 15k and can get it extended to 22- 23k max. Heard that Boston Acoustics soundware xs 5.1 is a good one but the system looks very compact. Is it a good choice?

How about JBL speakers? please let me know the different models that would work well with DENON 1612 with a quality surround sound

I would prefer to go ahead with 5.1 packages only instead of selecting individual speakers. Please guide me

Thanks Venkat. I have read this thread long time back but i got much more confused after going through it. Hence I have started the new thread for my requirement.

Let me clear my requirements first -
I have a sony 40inch led tv, xbox, tata sky HD. Mostly i would be watching movies using my laptop with hdmi connection to tv. I would be using the home theater for watching movies and playing games.

I have finalized on few home theaters but confused a lot on what would suit my needs.
1. Boston Acoustics soundware xs 5.1
2. Wharfedale Moviestar MS-100 HCP
3. Jamo A 102 HCS3 + SUB 210 Home Theatre System
4. Polk Blackstone TL1600

Among the above options, only Boston Acoustics is within my budget of 23k but if options 2,3,4(appx 34k) are much better, i would try to increase my budget.

Also where can I demo Boston Acoustics xs 5.1 and Wharfedale MS-100 in hyderabad?

Today, visited the Reliance digital store and got a chance to demo ONKYO 3400, got a little bit tempted because of the low price tag of 27k but after listening to the music played over it.. felt like an ordinary multimedia 5.1 home theater system.

Iam a lot of confused now.. please suggest me the best home theater system. One thing for sure.. would be buying Denon AVR1612 only.

You have a good list there with all the good names. Please try to demo all and then decide. Audio is very subjective and differs from person to person. If you can go with any of the above then you do not need to look at Onkyo HTS-3400 or any other HTIB systems. HTIB work great for tight budgets but if you can go with seperates then by all means please do.

Hello, I am from Hyderabad as well and exploring to finalize between 1513 and 1612, well I too have circled down to BA soundware 5.1 XS and Polk TL16000.

Let me know the best deal you got for the same and which speaker setup have you finally decided ?

Lastly the performance of movies / games/ music.
