Hi, I have got an offer of 1.01 for 950A in Vasanth and co and 1.02 in Chroma.

But Chroma offer a scheme of 22.6 k downpayment and 5.66k EMI for 14 months.

Both Sony and sharptronic doesn't have stock and I purchased my tv with croma yesterday.
Croma just got 1 pcs left in their stock
I'm expecting delivery today and installation tomorrow.
Price was 3% discount along with stablizer and HDMI cable.

What is the final Price. How much does the HDMI cable and Stabilizer cost ?

Get the LG 50PB6600 if you don't need 3D or Samsung 51F5500 if 3D is the priority. Look no further.

What about the lack of FILTER which may result in Reflections for this TV?

Installation completed, just changed my Airtel sd box to Hd so need to wait sometime to see how good the HD channels are.
Sd channels especially star sports, Sony,star plus looks brilliant.
Sd channels from regional channels looks ordinary.

Since this was installed around 9.00 pm I didn't have enough time to go through it completely.
Hopefully I will work with it tonight.

Could someone help me with right setting for better viewing experience.

You need to swtich off the TV in remote.

The press the following buttons in quick succession.

display(I+)
number 5
volume minus
and power on.

It was a perfect ok for me.

101000 -> Got it as a special price with Breakup as follows.

100750 -> Tv+ Premier 1KVA stabilizer.
250 - >Delivery through Auto to my house from T.Nagar as the Damn TV didn't go inside my Linea:banghead::banghead::banghead:

My TV was opened in the shop before my eyes and I checked the usage to be all zero. then repacked and brought it home.

What about installation. Did you wall mount it or use stands ? If we use stand, will the sony person handover the wallmounts to us ?

If it was my choice, eyes closed I would have bought Samsung 64F8500 Plasma.

Two reasons I didn't buy this TV even though I wanted it very badly is because

1. Size - 64 inches is too huge for my home.
2. Cost

Still, I would advise you to audition the TVs before you choose.

Thanks gp_freak. My options were around Panasonic ST / GT series - for plasma. However, given plasma is really out of production already, am looking at non-plasma TVs. Are curved TVs pure gimmick?
