Oled C2 after 1 Year and 11 months

CRT tvs were there in the market since 1934 and lcd tvs were available since early 80s. So I guess oleds will be more reliable after some 20 years.

Technologies get obsolete sooner now. OLED might get replaced by the next wave before its manufacturing gets stabilised to yield reliable products.

This is what we thought when mini leds came. Oleds problem was its brightness and the burn in. After seeing the current trend with newer tvs every year, I see OLEDs getting better in both aspects. Also, prices are getting sane and sales are better. Back when I bought mine 7 years back it was a niche item. None from my circle had it. In 2024, alone some 5 friends of mine got one themselves. It’s more popular and mainstream.

Minileds are not getting the momentum we thought they would get though.
