I have visited couple of places in Hyderabad, LG G3 77" is out of stock and no one has it, and not taking orders also. They may get some updates from LG only first week of November.
In fact one store suggested to go for A80L and offered price of 3.7L (after CB).
How is A80L compared with G3 or C3 (except brightness part).

A80L has solid picture typical of Sony processing. Picture has excellent clarity and depth. HDR brightness is not the strongest in a well lit room. Good sound for a TV.

The A80L is a bloody good option. When I was comparing it with the G3, it had it beat on clarity on sharpness in several scenes. All down to the XR chip, which really lifts all Sony models. Sony doesn’t get discounted much too, so 3.7 is a pretty good price.

Brightness is the biggest weakness of A80L TBH. You get Sony's processing but the panel is much weaker than G3 and even the C3. It's basically the opposite of S90C. S90C has amazing panel for cheap with meh processing, A80L is cheapo panel for expensive price with great processing.

Though if you care that much for processing and upscaling, a 77" TV is generally a bad idea. Imperfections and <1080p sources look really bad on big screens.

I told them call me when you can do 1.5L but i’m wondering if thats a good price or should we target even lower. Any idea what people bought 65C2 last year for?

Considering a few people got 65G2 for 1.53L during last Diwali I expected C2 to be much lower. But haven’t heard of anybody confirmed to have bought it below 1.5L
