Hi,

Hardwares: HDTV (Full HD)
Sony Upscaling DVD Player
AVR with HDMI (Specifically Denon 1610)

If I take the HDMI out of DVDP and connect to HDMI in of A/V Receiver, and then connect HDMI out of AV to TV, will audio also come via HDMI ?

Source that will be played: Normal DVD in the markets and mp3 songs , audio CD

What's the diff between 1910 and 1610 apart from the wattage ?
what's HDMI passthrough vs Full HDMI ?

Thanks

When I play source (normal DVD, mp3, audioCD) from upscaled dvd player, I need just the HDMI cable out of DVDP to Denon 1610 . This will get me both audio and video in single cable, right ?

Denon 1910 does what this upscaled DVD player does .

Is this right ?

Right, you need to set DVDp audio as HDMI.
Usually DVDp/BDp upscales better than AVR(1910).So you need not worry.

Usually you can see in DVDp menu > sound outpu> then select HDMI(other options can be Coax,2ch stereo etc)
