onkyo 3400 and 3500

I remember few guys said onkyo 3500 gets hot in 30 mins.. How long can we keep it on? Do i need to turn it of after some time or can use it without break with tata sky? Thanks

I have been using S3500 for the past few months .
I have connected Tata SKY HD, XBOX 360 (Both HDMI) and Philips DVD player (Audio Only), iPod (USB) and use the ARC.

The heat was one of the factor i was worried when researching, but it is not so much of a bother.

The AV is generally in standby mode when watchin regular TV.( SO does Not heat up at all). When turned on for movies or songs. it can run for hours without much issue. The entire top pannel of the AV is perforated, so as long as you are not blocking ventilation, you should be fine.

I have denon 1612 and I don't remember whether there is any dock. I will check and reply later.

Baiju, what is a dock connector for? Ipod?
