Onkyo hts 3400

Heard new onkyo HTS 3400 is in the market having powered sub.Can someone throw some light on this new model.

onkyo 3305 is the current model which is replacing 3300.onkyo 3400 is released in us market by April,it is not evident that it would be released here in India..

When I was enquiring about 3300 for purchase,I was told by the dealer in Delhi that they have new model 3400 .The model details are available on Onkyo asia-oceanic site.

right now i called onkyo dealer in mulund and he told me the same. HTS3400 is not latest model and is available for 25k including installation.

I tried to validate the specs on the asia site for both 3300 and 3400 and could not find any difference except that 3400 page shows 3D ready as a logo on the top which 3300 does not. Apart from this none of the specs seem to be different. There was no mention of 3400 having an active sub woofer.

I just read out Onkyo 3400 in the asia oceania site and found following differences with 3300 -
4 HDMI inputs in 3400 insead of 3 in 3300.
5 Composite Video Inputs (1 Front/4 Rear) and 2 Outputs
6 Analog Audio Inputs (1 Front/5 Rear) and 1 Output

wish if they could have added USB input as well ...5400 looks better

Is HT-S3400 an upgraded version of 3300? Someone here mentioned 3305 is going to be upgraded version.

I believe 3400 has passive woofer only.

Enquired about Onkyo-3400 in Onkyo showroom in Forum mall, Bangalore. The sales guy said that they have stopped selling 3300 and now 3400 is available inthe place of 3300. The cost is 25K.
