Getting brand new Box Sealed Panna 50V20D here in Mumbai for 80K, if anyone else wants to join the list we can get the price still lowered for a group buy. Let me know

Ritesh, Can you please tell from where you are getting this in 80 k... I am in for it if it can be further lowered

sorry for an offtopic question - how does it compare with samsung 50c6500. I really like the samsung TV due to its PQ and thin size. I have not seen a V20 in person so the silly question.
I think if we are thinking of a group buy, we can ask Vaibhav also (who gave the 50C6500 deal). I am 80% interested as I need a slim TV in my daughter's room. 42" is fine, but 50" should do as well.

check with 'Rajapraveen' in this forum, i think he has both v20 and 6500

Can anyone suggest what kind of accessories are bundled with 50v20d, i believe prav has bought so he can share that.. Also if someone knows what kind of power consumption on an average it consumes...i am sure it wont be 450 w all the time as suggested in the specification...

Most likely there will be nothing to go along other than a composite AV cable and batteries for the remote. If you are lucky, a 1m HDMI cable may be included.

450W is the consumption is you display an all white screen. The power usage will vary from 275W to 375W on an average.

I have seen V20 and its not that slim but I believe on wall mount it will at least come forward 6-8 inches easily, unlike Samsung of LGs LED tvs, which are really thin and hardly come forward beyond 3-4 inchs..on a wall mount

Not many Plasmas except the Pioneer Kuro can beat the Panasonic 50V20D.

The VT25,VT20,VT30 all have better blacks, contrast and picture than v20, the Indian version of the Panasonic v20 is not the same v20 available to international customers.

C7000,8000 and D7000 and 8000 are definitely better than v20.

Kuro is in a different league altogether in showing real time blacks, contrast and color accuracy but most top end plasma produced after 2010 will show better details than kuro.Only pro Panasonic plasma monitors can match kuro in contrast(and they cost a bomb) and blacks and this will be easily surpassed in the future by the SAMOLED technology.

Both are very good and have thier own advantage and disadvantage.

V20: slightly better blacks, less judder, less image retention than C6500.

C6500: better picture processing & colors, better contrast, better brightness, cleaner picture than v20.

Hope this helps.

Dear Buswal, I am planning to buy pana 50V20D in next 2 weeks. Where I will get this price? Can you give me details & nos. plz?

Thnx in advance.

How does it compare with Samsung PS 51D550? Panny seems to consume almost 500 watts compared to 350 watts for the Sammy.
