Panasonic 42V20 or Sony 40EX720

Went to the Panasonic Brand Store @ T.Nagar, Chennai. Demoed the 50V20. Amazing TV. Good picture clarity. Didn't like 24p smooth option. Made things look artificial.

Got an offer for Rs. 85k cash. 42V20 not available anywhere.

Should i demo the samsung D5000 / D6000 / D6600?

is it comparable to the sony Ex720?

The D6600 should be comparable to the EX720.3d is better on the samsung compared to EX720 series of sony.
The higher the series you go in samsung the more likely you are to get a SPVA panel.
The D6000 have reports of having SMVA based panels.

Demoed the panasonic v20 again. got a quote for 62k for the 42-inch and 88k for the 50-inch. Saw the samsung D6000 and D6600 at Croma. Liked the D6600. They refused to play the avatar bluray i took.

Any idea on the prices for a 40-inch 6600? prices on the website is 99,990.

The differences on the website between the D6000 and D6600 are

1) The D6000 has a clear motion rate of 200 hz vs the D6600 that has 400 motion hz. Personally i dont like the clear motion rate. Gives an artificial look to the content
2) 3D converter which again doesn't matter
3) Built in wifi on the D6600
4) Design - the D6600 looks very nice. Has a very slim bezel.

Apart from these, are there any differences in the picture quality on the D6000?
