I wish to buy a 3D PANASONIC DMP-BDT220 from banglore. So please suggest a shop with best price urgently..

Same here... 1 for me as well. Checked in almost all the stores in Bangalore but none have stock.

Ever since, I saw the signature of just4kix with this player, and exchanged some mails with him, I got very much interested in buying this player, but unfortunately its not available.

The showroom guys have confirmed stock availability in 20-25 days, so maybe, in December...

same here friends....i searched all local shops....
then ordered it from infibeam..but did not get a shipment update....then after 5 days of super follow up customer care says the product was never in stock........you can understand the frustration.....
and the local shops cant say anything confirmly...they say after 2 weeks,but nothing concrete....so,.....
its my bad that could not own the pana 220 model...
now ordered sony 490 from ezoneonline...as the price is lucrative 9k against reatil 13.5k.......

I bought this BDT-220 in the first week of NOV at Rs 11,000 in Pune from Panasonic Brand Shop, Baner Road.

Guys I thinking of getting a BDT220.

Is BDT320 better deal?

The price difference is not that much. 320 is smaller and slot loading I think.

PQ should be more or less similar.

Touchpad remote and Smart Eco sensor are differences.

However the reviews on this one are not that good.

All Panasonic players can be made region free. Discussion centers around model 220 because that is what is sold in India (if stock is available).

Panasonic bdps can be made region free by updating the firmware and this you can do by yourself. But this 'enhanced' firmware is not free and you need to apply at FirmwareInfo.com • View topic - Enhanced Blu-ray firmware installation instructions and pay a fee to download the firmware. List of BDPs that can be made region free are listed here FirmwareInfo.com • View forum - Blu-ray Players.

On the other hand UK or EU model of Thoshiba BDP 3200 and 3100 can be made region free by firmware upgrade and the region free firmware is free to download.

I tried with naaptol - placed order 10 days back, did multiple follow ups but no success. Finally Naptop cancelled the order.

I have tried all panasonic stores in NCR, no luck!

Just talked to the Statewise Corporate Sales Enquiries Head for Karnataka and he has confirmed the availablity of DMP-BDT220 by the 10th of December.
When I asked him about the price, he replied that he does not have idea for the new price and to contact him in the second week of December.

So, I guess the price has changed and I hope it has decreased.
