Just bought the Panny L42ET60D some days ago. Some headbanging done off-late. Some thoughts:

When connected with my desktop I don't get full screen. Tried different settings but seems like watching movies from a PC restricts me to enjoy true big size of this TV.

PFU pictures to see what I mean. This doesn't happen when I play a movie from pen drive. Why does this happen? Any workaround?

Yet to check digital TV and other features.

Even with picture settings>screen settings>16:9 overscan & H-size set to 2 doesn't give complete full screen.

Any HTPC experts done this before?

This doesn't happen on my friend's Phillips 42".

There might be some option like screen-fit which my sony tv has, try adjusting screenfit to -1 if the resolution doesn't come on full screen so try adjusting 0 and then +1. Sorry I can only help this much as I have no panasonic LED-LCD with me.

That screenfit option might be in the picture mode or in the home key in which you will see display option.

I have tried almost all features on the TV and desktop. Seems like this is an issue with ATI drivers + HDMI. Have done some research and will try to do some tweaks today. This is very irritating. Just for info this doesnot happen on my friend's Philips 42" + ATI 4870 gpu

WOOT!!!!!!

A registry edit fixed it! I LOVE the TV even more now. No overscan/aspect ratio needed.
