Paradigm Atom v.3 driver repair

Hey guys!

A friend has a Paradigm Atom v.3 pair. One of the drivers seems to be kaput. Where can I get an estimate for a replacement? Alternatively, can the driver be repaired?

I'm shooting in the dark about the problem being with the driver since the grills are not removable. However, whenever anything is played on the speaker, there is a distinct "broken" sound. I can best describe it in hindi - it is phati sound.

Happens even at regular volumes. However, it only happens in the lower frequencies.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many drivers can be repaired. I have personal experience with Scanspeak mids as well as AE Speakers subwoofers. I dont know about the one you indicated.

Thanks George! Am looking into some leads provided by Denom. If nothing works out, I'll see if I can meet you for some drams, err, I mean driver-related help.

To repair, one has to be able to access and remove the driver-so unless this is possible, I dont know how one can go about it! I either took or shipped my drivers with me to the US.
