The TT had the belts already so did not get them.

Supposedly Mr. Pandurang is known to be the best person to guide in this regards as mentioned in the thread.

Pandu is probably the best person for this job as he is attached to a Philips showroom (I believe since ages). I think he will handle mechanical problems well. Not too sure about electronic problems, though.

If replacement belt is needed, it can be fabricated through Aziz at Taj Rubber in nearby Lamington Road. Aziz 9322392969. I have got a few made. Good quality. Cheap too.

One.

But order one more and keep as spare. Take current belt to be shown as sample as he needs to understand type (flat, rope, width/diameter ) and length.

How much does it cost to get one belt made by him? A ballpark figure will do..

I made a couple for a Thorens TD 160. IIRC, he charged Rs 175 per piece. A shorter one for a TD 124 was some Rs 130.
