Pic Of your Blu ray Collection or Dvd Collection

i tried using software like movie collector, found it difficult. so i just use word document to manage my collection..
i use 2tb and 1tb hard disks having external power supply to store movies+data..
I got only 18 tb.. just ordered 2tb for exclusive games and book/ novel collection..

So you have multiple HDDs?

I was considering buying a 3 or 4TB but seems like may not be enough.. not to mention the high investment..

What software can you recommend to sort and manage the titles?

Sarfarosh screen captures shows that the transfer is not too good but not bad too. Seems smooth, but it should be sharp and bright.

1. How do you capture blu-ray screen shots?
2. From where you have purchased No Entry? Amazon UK?

I guess its Blu Ray is not available in India yet.

Here are my latest purchases:

Sarfarosh
I bought it the moment I got to know it's being released. It was my most favourite movie of 90's era and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to watch it in its best version after so many years.

I bought it from RhythmHouse.in in Rs. 799, but it is available at cheaper rate on Amazon.in.

It is not so great but a decent Bluray transfer; lot of digital noise and soft images are present. See the screenshots below.

I captured Bluray screenshots by playing it in my computer's Bluray drive using PowerDVD.
Yeah, I purchased No Entry from Amazon UK because it's not available in India.

OK, I need that movie too, is it possible whenever you order from Amazon Uk in future, please let me know and add my few titles in your cart. I will pay for them.:)

Yeah, I can do that, no problem. However there may be extra shipping charges for delivering items at 2 different addresses. Anyways I'll check how it goes.
You can also do a dummy shopping on Amazon UK to check how much extra charges are there in this case.

Spartacus Collection !

Here is my LONG waited Boxset which came 2 days ago from amazon.uk. I order it on 31st july,13 when GBP was around 91/- rupees. It costs me 37.52 GBP with shipping (3550/- Approx).

My original parcel is STILL missing ... which I assume is LOST... the replacement came 2 days ago (Duty Free) ! :yahoo:

I love Spartacus so much that I went ahead having another copy of Season 1 (Blood & Sand). The Final season (War of the damned) is TOO Expensive at the moment which I will order later...:ohyeah:

GBP is so high at the moment, so I am having a wait & watch strategy now ! :D

On the hunt for Bond movies on Blu-ray. Already had 5 movies so never went for the Bond 50 pack.

So, buying them individually and took the plunge with 6 more, which I will receive after a week's time as my relative is getting them. Now, I have 11 of them and another 12 to go.
Yes, I will be missing the extra disc which is there in the Bond 50 pack.

Here is my latest acquisition from flipkart ! Bought all 3 for 1497/- during the Half price sale.

Hostel :D

My first steels, purchased off Amazon, India.

The paint job on these steelies appears to be rather delicate. Just taking it out of the shrinkwrap was enough to chip the paint a bit here and there. Besides the paint on the lower end of one of the steel's wore a bit, probably I guess in transit aided by the poor packing of the seller. Dang! are these things delicate or what

Just let us know the quality of these Indian LOTR releases after watching them.
Also, check if there are any extras at par with this edition or discs include just movies.

:clapping: Looks Great.

I feel all Indian BDs' case/box are delicate. Not as good as those manufactured @ US/UK

How's the pic quality and how much Extras it have?

No extras at all other than commentaries from the director, writer etc. It's also just the extended version (no theatrical version) on two blu's per case.

The Trilogy Box set technobhatt linked is the better option if one wants all of the extras. Short docu's I can tolerate, but I tend to fall asleep with overly long documentaries, so just the extended version is a good option for me. The trilogy boxset was available on Amazon, IN & I think Flipkart too at a 40% discount a few days ago bringing it almost on par with the discounted steels. It's gone now, but it will most probably be back during the festival season ahead.

From a quick browse of a few scenes per disc, the PQ is great as is the AQ. Haven't watched the movies in their entirety yet, but I don't think there will be any issues on the AV quality front. Will update again once I watch the whole trilogy.

Here are photo's of a scene from each movie showing the bitrate (excuse the fuzzy shots, I should have used a tripod).
