Pioneer is not more popular brand in India. Their products are properly priced with good build and sound quality. Pioneer SC LX series avrs and bdps are class leading products . I have Pioneer BDP-450 from last five years and its working fine ( Once need to adjust the lence) . Pioneer is doing well in car stereo but not more focus on home entertainment system. Present VSX LX series is better than earlier VSX series. I have auditioned few pioneer avrs and they were good for money. Denon, Marantz, Yamaha have better presence in India market compare to Pioneer, Onkyo . May be after sale service is also one of the reason for lagging behind .
