Its neither punchy nor is it blowing away the house at medium volume, it is actually very steady and a sober sound, the kind I like. At loud volumes, the house starts to rocks a little.

Oh yes, one more thing. There was a concern if FM will work with the Pioneer receiver given that we have odd frequencies and US has even frequencies. The Receiver moves at 1hz difference and picks up all the FM channels in Bangalore :yahoo:, but the antenna has to be really raised up to the top, otherwise it is very weak at catching signals.
