Absolutely not even trying. Like i mentioned in my earlier replies one had to be a complete lunatic to pay 3 times the price of the actual product and get no warranty or service , provided you get the shipment in one piece.
Such a shame india doesnt have a budget market for enthusiasts.
I can go upto 90 - 95 but not more than that unfortunately. Situation in india is pretty grim because
1. 2019 version of every tv got reduced in performance for some reason ... Samsung nu8000>ru8000, lg sk8500>sm9000 and those were all below 95k price range. Next anything worth the money is x95g , c9 all of them are for 1.2 or more
2. India has budget 4k tv s for masses but not for enthusiasts. At least the online reviews i could find on tv s like vu premium android, iffalcon k31, tcl p8 and such ... I just cant trust these and i swear if i watch one more joker (read indian reviewers) saying picture quality: looks good sound quality: sounds great and the proceeds to play games on the tv and goes on about it i'll jump off a cliff.
Sorry for being the elitist here, but this is partly because of arge number ill informed or downright illiterate people to some extent. Just go through some of the reviews of the indian reviews on indian budget model of tv and their comment section. It'll paint a pretty decent picture of the market and why companies are getting away with it.And that's what I have ranted about earlier too in different threads. We are being ripped off at every level, from cheap to expensive. Paying premium cost high-end products, not having good, cheaper alternatives, even though those companies have a presence here. TCL directly and Hisense indirectly via Vu. They still haven't launched a single FALD set at even 1.5x the US cost. Bummer! Taking that into account, LG is now at least offering their top products for only 1.3-1.4x the US cost. They are better among devils.

I tried the 65" H9F on amazon USA and it comes down to 1.2 which is roughly double to the orginal price but still a good price compared to Indian 65" TVs

Yeah warranty is an issue. So basically to get a warranty we have to spend around 80k more ( Sony X950G 65" price in India) or just take a leap of faith !!Yeah. This is still a better deal. Shipping is less than the TCL one. But still, who wants to spend 1.2 lacs with zero warranty?

I own C9 65" but i still feel for cable TV in normal viewing conditions my friend's 950G performs better than my C9 but for watching movies in dark rooms, C9 has only Sony and Panasonic OLEDs as competitors.Or get a B9 for 1.7-1.8 lacs
This is why don't get why people are even buying FALD sets here with pricing so close to OLEDs.

So C9 is for watching End Game and 950G is for watching Big Boss
seriously bro? First they need to spell out a few panel related terminologies first then proceed onto "reviewing" whatever they please to . They hardly have the knowledge or expertise to do so, how can they. All they care about is whether the tv has "quad" or "octa" cores because those terminologies gets thrown around quite a lot in the cellphone review circle, and then they proceed to play android games on the TELEVISION with a concluding sentences like "this tv has dts surround blaster plus atmosphere , which sounds amazing"No reviewer has called them out.
my usage is 90% movies/tv shows. I'm a self proclaimed data hoarded so yeah i've deleted all my previous 1080p copies and have started collecting 4k hdr copies where possible. No cable tvs for me.I own C9 65" but i still feel for cable TV in normal viewing conditions my friend's 950G performs better than my C9 but for watching movies in dark rooms, C9 has only Sony and Panasonic OLEDs as competitors.

this is still imaginable .... double the price, umm ok fine. well in case of tcl 6 series, 43k price, 30k shipping, 35k customs ..... i meanI tried the 65" H9F on amazon USA and it comes down to 1.2 which is roughly double to the orginal price but still a good price compared to Indian 65" TVs

They are not same as the ones available in US. The latest models arent launched in India. India receives mostly their dumped products.Apologies for my naivety, I saw a 65in Vu and TCL on Flipkart for 50k INR - whats wrong in going with it?

not even starting with the panel quality, black lvls, uniformity, motion handling, reflection coating, viewing angles, zone backlighting and so on .... these companies are fooling indian customers in the name of HDR which not only requires certain hardware (10bit panel, 500+ nits brightness atleast for starters) but a great deal of effort from the manufacturer to implement (tone mapping, color calibration etc etc) which i highly doubt they do, not at least in India. And that's fine too, had it not been these companies weren't selling all those features and much higher quality panel with proper HDR hardware and software support in other markets (usa). Rather they are using India as a dumping ground for their sub-par panels and outdated technologies and asking the same price as they are for those superior panels in other markets all in the name of being budget friendly.Apologies for my naivety, I saw a 65in Vu and TCL on Flipkart for 50k INR - whats wrong in going with it?
