Hi there,

I'm new here, So be nice lol :)

Alright, Jokes apart.. my current setup mentioned below...

LG 55" 3D LED with LG HB906TA or something similar but it's 3d Bluray HT - tallboy speakers

At initially i thought going for a LG HT with TV would be better to deal with both the systems. But the sound quality which i get from it is.. umm.. I'm not really disappointed. Its good for my small room.. But i would like to have some deep punch on the bass and tweeters rather than large speakers.

And LG Home Theater is failed with subwoofer. As you may know its all passive woofers at this budget.

Now I'm planning to use my speakers the 4 tall boys for now. ( FL FR, RR,RL ) But will be upgrading in future.

Right Now I'm looking for a AV Receiver to connect my 4 tall boys as well as a new powered deep bass subwoofer under a budget of 50k for both.

So, Decent AV Receiver having in mind for future speaker upgrades + nice budget subwoofer that is better than any subwoofer in HTiB's

My budget.. around 50k if less, i'd be happy.

Coming from HTiB's, I'm totally new to this. So i hope you guys will suggest me the best for my budget :)

Cheers!

A decent AVR will cost around 30K leaving 20K for subwoofer. For AVR you can consider models like Denon 1612 or 1513, Yamaha 471/373. These will cost around 25-28K. For subwoofer, Sonodyne Roar 210 and Astonia are well within the budget.

Ahhh one more bitten by the upgraditis bug.

Yea, very hard one :P

Thanks for your suggestions mate, I don't mind increasing my budget slightly higher. But.. i want a decent subwoofer that shows its power at higher level.

I hope the one you suggested is good enough ? for music and movies like transformers.

Btw, i was looking at onkyo woofers but some say they are good and some say they're not that much powerful.... not sure how true is that.

But, What about polk ? any inputs on that.

My place to purchase these products will be "Profx"

Receiver wise... yea i can push upto 30k for it. But the sub is my fav part that plays here and i don't mind increasing my budget slightly higher. So, Let me know about that.

In future.. ill be installing shakers under my couch as well.

Thanks for your inputs.

You need to demo subwoofers. I haven't personally auditioned Sonodyne sub but it is good as per some FMs. If you can increase the budget, look for Velodyne subs.
