Why are you only looking at polk audio...........there are loads of other names that you should demo and then decide. No doubt the RTi series are much superior to TSi series but not listening to other speakers is not doing justice to yourself. you should also try wharfedale diamond, paradigm monitor, mission mx, mordaunt short aviano 6, etc.........and then decide. I have a strong feeling once you demo these babies, you will forget polk audio :)!!!

As suggested in the forum go for a good AVR + 2 fronts towers and then build up your system bit by bit. Always better not to mix and match.......if your fronts are from a certain series, then suggest to stick to that series for the other speakers. Also remember to match your speakers well with the avr. Bright speakers need a warmer avr while warmer speakers go well with a bright avr..........its all about balance!!! Take your time, demo as many systems as possible and then decide.

@ corElement ,hey! i am totally new to these speakers and avr and all..lol. i am getting some new speakers for my house and the budget is around 50k-60k.i was thinking about the CA SIROCCO 5.1 or the JAMO S606 HCS6.which do you think will be better and worth the cost ? lets say movies 70 and music 30. awaiting your reply!thanks in advance!

Hey guys.....
Just wanted to tell you that due to unexpected circumstances, i went in for the denon 1312xp htib package........and well.....its nice..... :)

My time for relaxing is limited this year so im not finding this setup too bad for occasional movies.........infact, if the movie has a good 5.1 track, it sounds absolutely amazing.....

Now what i wasplanning was ......If and when i get the time and the money to upgrade........i was planning on first replacing the front R and L speakers........

What i wanted to know was which speakers should i go for which my 1312 would do justice to.....budget max 20-25......

any suggestions??

PS:- also, is there any way i can exchange my 1312 for a 1612? is the exchange worth it? if yes, how do i go about doing it??

HELLLPPP :)

If you have a budget of 65-70 you need to immediately close your eyes and get your hands on a Cambridge Audio Sirocco 5.1 set for 42-45.
JUST don't think about it anymore and GET these. They're the ultimate value for money 5.1 home theater package. All you'll need is a decent AVR for 20-25 after this.

Hell.. I'll even sell you My 120w per channel 6.1 Jamo AVR for that price since you're in delhi so you dont have to worry about these new denon 1612's which are known for faulty hdmi ports and high failure rates. It's just sitting, PM me if you're interested.

This is the cambridge audio sirocco 5.1 set for 43k They are beautifully finished and have received a lot of praise for immense detail in their sound as against others for the same price.

The dealers are saying that cambridge audio sirocco 5.1 is no longer available
