Experimentation with floor-standers. Got this new unit yesterday as a test to see if my room can accommodate FS. This will serve me as a stop-gap till I settle down with something long-term solve.
So far, this FS is proving to be a very good buy and the stop-gap duration might get elongated courtesy QA Concept 40s.

The room is 11*14 Feet with some shelfs and a bed in it.
Speakers are placed 1.5 feet away from the wall.
I had the same apprehension before having this in my room. Think placement and quality of amplification may be the key here.
