Power Backup Suggestion

Guys
Just bought a Sony KDL-46W950 3D Television.
It is paired to a tata sky plus HDR and a blue ray DVD player.
Now we need a 5-10 minute power backup. This is essentially to avoid shut downs when power goes out.
Our power backup genset kicks in after 2-3 minutes. However, the switchover means that the TV shuts down twice in the process.
Can I use a 5-10 min backup UPS for this? If yes, what's the best option and specs keeping in mind the three connected devices - TV, HDR and DVD player?
All suggestions are welcome. Personal setup experiences would be great.

You should be able to use a small UPS for your purpose. Size the wattage requirements before you buy.

However note that the small UPS will mostly be a square wave one. Also if your area has lots of power fluctuations, UPS may switch to battery mode when voltage crosses threshold and the batteries can run out of juice.
