Pre Amp for Marantz power amplifier

Dear Friends,

Base on recommendation from fellow forum member I've purchased Marantz 7025 power amp.

Request to guide me for Pre Amp which would better suited to Marantz, at present I'm using Sonodyne Integrated Amp as pre amp for this power amp sound good but not up to the expectation.

Exactly but this is one of the HT series and the matching pre-amp for this is a multi-channel one.

doesnt marantz have any stereo preamp?

stick to amps that have a similar sound signature and price bracket. nad c165 comes to mind

If for sterio purpose then I would strongly recommend to have a look at a passive pre-amp like the Pass B1 pre.
Since it is a passive pre and completely transparent with no sound signature of its own added to the chain so it should match well with any amp

Definitely give this a try before looking elsewhere, if you like transparent and clean sound and want a component that is completely neutral/transparent then chances are very high you would love this

sachin is based in naski, you may audition with his pre ( Pass B1 )

I am using the same and iam loving it
