Price thread for BDP, DVDP (and universal)

Hi All,

There have been a couple of old threads either closed or very old (and disallow posting to them) where prices were discussed earlier. In the interest of all, I am initiating this price thread and hope all of us will keep it updated and live! The players we can include here are all BDP, universal BDP (includes DVD-A, SACD, HDCD etc), DVDP, universal DVDP (includes DVD-A, SACD, HDCD etc). {do mention which formats are not playable in "universal models", if at all they qualify for being called one, that is!}

Everyone can submit the model number and price quote and I can try to consolidate latest information by editing this initial post.

Another useful point, one can browse the thread and keep adding models which are not listed in this thread. However, for the models already listed, one shall only repeat if a better price quote is available. Let me know if there is anything else to add.

Mods: If you feel this is redundant/duplicate, feel free to remove this. Otherwise, we may observe the volume and quality of information in the coming days and decide to make it a sticky, thereafter!

PS: The 8K mark surely sounds very interesting. hyeah:
