Hey,
I purchased Panasonic 42C10 for 39K in exchange of my old 21" CRT from Kohinoor Vashi on 12th Oct 09. Also got the Zee Dish TV free. Only paid 225/- after installation at my place in Airoli.

Arcee Electronics was a bad experience. On entry itself, a self labelled technical advisor declared - We don't sale Plasmas since they are very old technology.
I laughed very loudly to him and left.:yahoo:
From Arcee I went to Kohinoor only 5-7 mins away (on bike) in Vashi and finalized the deal.

Vijay Sales is also a bad experience. Prices are high after tough nego also. For the same model they quted me 40.5K without any freebies! Also very very poor delivery. Atleast 24 hrs after payment that too not guaranteed. In Kohinoor I had taken the delivery myself in my car and done. Vijay Sales fell short for that also since they don't keep any pack pieces in their big (??) stores!!:rolleyes:

10 Months back bought my LCD from kohinoor vashi. V Good expereince and lowest possible price in my survey of 25+ shops!!

Toshiba REGZA model 32RV600E is available for Rs.32000/- (under exchange of old TV) at the Delhi Trade Fair, Pragati Maidan. Is any body experienced with this TV ? Any comments on the price ? I am tempted to buy.

Panasonic 42C10 is available for 42.2k at J.D. Electronics , Chennai . Just spoke to Vaibav . He says thanks to Madbullram.
 
Can anyone please tell the current price of Panasonic TH-PY850 plasma which appears to be last year's model but available with discounts? I have read several good reviews about it.
Also, if anyone is aware of the resale value of old large RPTVs (I know it won't be much) still in excellent condition, please share.

I went on to purchase the TV for Rs.31000/- (unfortunately no vision experts shared any input in this forum). Flip side is that only one year warranty is given.

I find it pleasing to the eyes (external), my Dish TV channels also getting a morale boost through it. However, due to the resolution incompatibility, pictures in the Wide Video Mode look unrealistic( like old cinemascope pictures)
In the 4:3 view mode, they are fine.

As I dont have any HD video player, I may not be able to comment on it.

That's an amzing deal. wonder whether they will actually ship anywhere in India at that price.
 
ebay does this time to time to promote products. Last time X9 was on sale for 25k. What ebay does is, they pay 5k to each product sold so dealer reduces 5k from the selling price. This helps proimote ebay and its products.

But this seller gives Dealer Warranty so i will stay away plus they wont offer free installation if dealer warranty. Last time when ebay promoted Pana x9, the dealer gave Manufacturer warranty and Pana also honoured it when I called to check.

So pls ensure you have warranty issues clarified b4 buying

have a Toshiba 32CV500 and happy with its performance as it delivers a good black level contrast and has SRS WOW sound. It will require some fine tuning on your part to get the best SD picture.

DVD and HD picture quality is good. In my opinion Toshiba is an underated brand and if you see some of the reviews on the web they are pretty decent for the price. Of course if you are getting Panasonic/Sony/Samsung at around that price then you may wish to stick with it. I purchased mine overseas hence got it at half the price
