Me getting Samsung series 5 LN32B530 for Rs. 36,000 and LN32B550 for Rs. 40,000 at Faridabad (Near Delhi).

I purchased Samsung LA 32B530 for Rs 33000 with Exchange (21'' BPL Flat TV without Remote) from NExt.

yesterday we brought home our new baby 'Sammy'. It looks real HUUUUUGE
well the damages that i had to pay were 55k.
i hope thats a decent price for a 50'' samsung plasma. and its not that outdated or ugly in appearance (no full HD and no single layer glass/panel) and it even does not have any USB or BT. but still day 1 viewing was decent (with cont /bright. at 50)

ahem, i just used ur previous post madbullram, he quoted 35,900. i said chandra stores, velachery has quoted me 33,680 and asked him to match it.He asked why i wasnt taking it there, i replied that my residence was closer (which is true, i live at arunachalam road, saligramam) and that coz i believed hed give me a better price and vola...33,000net ...only thing he insisted upon is full cash payment. :clapping:

55k looks like a real deal.. Is it with exchange?
What was the quoted price? Did you negotiate?

Iam looking for one for my friend in hyderabad the best price quoted is 60k!

I love toshiba, so i prefer only toshiba LCD. In Chennai no dealers are there for toshiba. For some official work i came to mumbai, here I bought thosiba 32RV600E.

Toshiba rocks in black levels and black & white moive, the color black is still balck(panasonic too) all other brands are in grey color.

And while seeing the news channel, the scrolling news are as same as CRT tv, we can read easily in Toshiba, but other brands fails in this area.

Toshia are not doing any ads in india, but the PQ and the other features are unbeatable by any other brands.

overall comparison is below in PQ, any fast moving video/scrolling news, black level Toshiba rocks. I compared all this with Airtel digital tv and with blue ray movie

Is this a good bargain?

f you were me, you would not go for G10. I believe power consumption and Hz are the only difference but the price difference for this is huge.
S10 - 550 Hz
G10 - 600

That price is ludicrous for the G10 considering its price history here in India and its current value in the US. It started with a price tag of 72K went down all the way to 59k at one time and now it is up to 70.5.
This year Panny has been generally pricing its TVs here at around 30% more than the average US price tag (current us price tag 850 dollars) and considering this i feel its really not worth it.
