planning to buy a plasma TV.
Wasnt too impressed with the prices and the agents at LG showroom and Vijay Sales
after some discussions with Panasonic brand showrooms got the following prices (Panasonic Baner)
42X20- 38,000
46X20- 47,000
Both prices seems to be negotiable- with the dealer saying something on the lines "As I told you, you wont be disappointed with the price"- The Baner showroom guy seems to be eager to register some sales, while the Kothrud agent sounded a bit indignant at the low prices offered by his competitor..
42X20 seems to be on the higher side, considering the infibeam price
However the 46X20 sounds like a deal- considering the prices at infibeam and the Kothrud Showroom (50K+)
All prices for non-demo pieces, with three year warranty and installation/octroi and some silly scratch card offer. Also the indications are that these will be available at 0% EMI with no processing fees (EMI= MRP/12, 4 EMI downpayment)
Currently tempted to buy the 46X20 although it is a bit above my initial budget.
Not in much of a hurry to buy the TV, except for WC2011
Will post prices after final negotiations and purchases.
Any recommendations/suggestions welcome

Try Sidharth Electronic and furniture outlet on satara road opposite Megamart (Balaji nagar )showroom . They give the best prices. Believe me I am surprised too. Such a big shop and the the prices are good too!
Further up is the LG plaza who also is known for very attractive pricing.
Both places the down payment and Emi prices are different. The Cash payment prices are the best.
