Well i had been to Alpha market today to enquire about the prices of sony leds tv, and here is what they offer right now:
KD-46EX720 for 78k (grey)+ 2 3d glasses free
KD 40NX720 for 74k (grey)+ 2 3d glasses free
and
KD 40NX720 for 84k (bill+1 year warranty) and no freebies

Recently bought a Panasonic PTH 50" VT20D 3D Ready Model Plasma.
Wat a TV!! As critics said.

The price was reduced but still a mammoth of 1.27K
And I got it from Kolkata around 1.25K, With 1 3D Glass Free. The other one he shipped a week after.

Now Im pinning him to give one 3D Disc of Avatar, Pleading him alot. Since its a deal with Panasonic every 3D Purchase... u will get an Avatar 3D disc.

I didn't get a quote for the ST30 - If 2D I will go with V20, if 3D I shall pick VT20 or D550. ST is not in my VFM zone.

Hi- I am planning to buy Samsung 40D5900 in Hyderabad. Can someone please share the price they got for this model. Also, can you please share PQ comparison of this model to D6000 and D6600. I am familiar with feature differences and this TV suits me from feature standpoint as I do not need 3D. I could not compare the PQ of this TV side by side with D6000 and D6600 hence asking for same. My usage will be regular TV channels and DVD movies. Thanks.

i don't think you will get ST30 in grey market.....

2D PQ of D5900 is same as D6000. But D6600 is in a completely different league and much better and is comparable to D7000 and even D8000 for 2D PQ.

i paid 59K for 42V20D in hyd when i bought in feb'11

Yup but its pretty steep at 3L+. You can also look at the 60" Sharp Quattron. Its also around 3L.
