In my home tv has windows with curtains on both sides ,reflections are still there but only when you want to notice.

Default brightness was enough for me,

I use tatasky SD is watchable if not good at 9feet distance, HD is awesome even at 4feet

In order to skip the tatasky logo/channel logo i am using zoom1 in aspect ratio

In sd this works great .the picture is back to normal ratio like in a 4:3 crt tv

In HD if i choose zoom1 in aspect ratio settings people look awful ,i have to choose between channel logo/awful aspect ratio

Personally i feel they would have provided user customizable zoom option, so that we can adjust on our own like in computer monitors

 enjoy buddy...you good yourself a great deal.

please do share a review on the brightness, SD & HD picture quality. I read some folks mentioning that this set is bit darker...do share your observations...

You can try zoom2 option for HD channels/some SD channels being broadcast in 16:9. This keeps aspect ratio same for 16:9 content and gets rid of most of the logos.
Not sure if these are available in your TV though. It is in vt20 so I assume it will be in yours too. content and gets rid of the logo.

yaa zoom2 is available and it does good for HD,but at that zoom level picture quality will be low

Mate, browse through the Panny V20 and VT20 owners threads, you will get the process to check the usage on the panel....

Just bought 43D490 for 36.5 in Croma Chennai with 5% Cash back, never felt so much satisfied when they delivered the Brand new Factory sealed manufactured by Nov2011! :yahoo:

Was on the lookout for a 32" LCD and found these prices for end of year deals (Vijay Sales, Delhi)

Toshilba 32HV10 Rs.17500.00
Sharp LC32L410M Rs.21990.00
Lloyds Rs.17000.00

For Full HD models:
LG 32LK450 Rs.30000.00
Sony KLV32CX32P Rs.31900.00

The Toshiba seems to be a very good price, but what do you suggest?

Also found 42" deal for Full HD
AOC L42DK99KU Rs.34000.00

Need advice on this guys. The TV is to be used primarily for regular cable tv, though wouldn't harm us if we are ready for the HD experience. USB, PC connectivity and other jing bang is not a priority.

What is the best price for Samsung 32" Full HD LED UA32D5000PRMXL? I checked in most of the retail chains in Bangalore, nobody can match Flipkart's price (36.5K). Is it ok to buy from Flipkart?
