Can anyone tell me the best price for a Sony 46EX720 in Bangalore? The best quote I got was 93K.

most large format stores like croma, vijay sales etc are selling it for 99k (after discount). Sony anyway doesn't give much margin to be played with, hence i guess the price of 93k which you got is quite good.

Can you please tell me which is the best 50" Plasma TV I could get under Rs 65,000/- .. I am being offered a Panasonic 50x20 series Plasma TV but it's not Full HD and I believe it's a very old model .. Is there any other option I have? Even a 46'' will do as long as it's Full HD with motion flow ..

Hi guys... I am new on this forum....

I am planning to buy a 42 inch Full HD plasma....budget Rs 42k-45k

I find panasonic P42u30D to be a good option....

is P42s30 available in India and is it within 42-45k .....

Planning to buy the same in March-April time

Still on the look for a good 32" LCD..

I was offered the following choices at a local Delhi store:

1. LG 32" full HD LCD TV 32LK450 for Rs.25000
2. Panasonic 32" HD ready LCD TV VIERA TH-L32C33D for Rs.23300.

Any suggestions for choosing between these?

I am inclined towards the full HD LG model since the price difference is only 1700. Both use IPS panels. The Panny has front firing 30W speakers and a SD card reader built in.

Am I right in choosing full HD over HD ready for this screen size?

Guys,
I am getting the following prices from a dealer in NOIDA. Do you think these are on the higher side? If yes, could you suggest a better place in the Delhi NCR region for a 50" Panasonic plasma?

50VT20D = 85k
50ST30 = 95k

Latest pricing for Panasonic 42' Plasma TH-P42X30D in Bangalore is Rs. 33,000. I recently bought it from Dickenson Road showroom.

I went with Panasonic TH-L32C33D for the following reasons:

- Couldn't make out any difference in the HD content being played on both the TVs, so figured HD and full HD did not make a difference at this size.
- The Panasonic has IPS alpha panel with better viewing angles. The picture appreciably dims on the LG when viewed at a sharp angle.
- The Panasonic has better sound, clearer and louder.
- Final price after trading in our 25 yr old Sony Trinitron was 21400.

Initial impressions are good. SD cable channels are OK, though the colours on the Plasma look better. At higher brightness colours start to look unnatural. Expecting an improvement after the STB becomes digital in a few weeks. Still images through the built in SD card reader looked really good. The only down side is that the slideshow has a minimum time interval of 5 seconds! 5 seconds is too long a time to stare at the same picture! Yet to try the USB connection. All in all seems like a good buy for a limited budget.

Would appreciate inputs on better calibration.
