Bought Panasonic Plasma 42X30D today from Pai, JP Nagar Bangalore for Rs 34000. This was without any exchange offer. Had to bargain a lot, dealer was not willing to come below Rs 34900, saying this is a fast selling model and many showrooms don't have any stock ..blah...blah etc. Also got lucky coupons as per their current Anniversary Sale.

Hope it was a good deal.

I believe the cheapest(INR18990) 32 inch Full HD LCD TV is Panasonic TH-L32U20 available at Tradus.in(with a discount coupon code "GADGET"). But not sure about the quality of the TV. Any Review on it??

For Panasonic 42x30d, check the website timtara, price is at 32,990,also there is coupon for Rs.4000 off which is a steal.

However it is not being shipped to all places i guess.

This site is not reliable. I know the people, whose money got stuck over there more than a month and still not sure about the receipt of their products.

Searching Panasonic 50VT20D is waste of time.
Go for Samsung PS51D550 or if your budget permits go for Panasonic 50ST30D.

Thank you Mahesh for this information. I'm interested in buying this TV. Today I visited a couple of multi brand shops in Pune (Hipercity and Reliance Digital).

Hipercity didn't have it on display. However, they had 51D490 on display with price tag of 65000/-. I knew, they would quote even higher price for 51D550 so didn't ask. Reliance digital had 51D550 on display. Their asking price for this TV was 61900/- with just one free glass. They said price is fixed however, they will see if they can manage to give one more free glass.

The quote you got 2 months back is better than what they are asking now. I'm sure the shop, from where you got this quote, will give even better quote now. Would it be possible for you to ask for current price of this TV? Thanks.

Note: I've just started searching for the best TV for my need and the best deal. I'll be buying the TV sometime in May.

for 50ST30D, shop around in Giria's and Devi international. you can pick it up for little more than 80K. i paid 88.5K. check out the st30 owners thread. there are people who have quoted slightly little more than 80K form Devi international.
