In Hyderabad I got a quote of 92K for 46Hx750.
If you can manage to place order at ezoneonline I think you can get it for around 88K after discount and coupon, but I couldn't place as my PIN code is showing as not supported.

Can some technical specs be used to rate either one better than the other?

Any other brand to be considered if I am looking for a monolithic or (minimal border kind of screen)

Whats your budget? If no constraints as such then go for sony hx850 if its available, else look for Toshiba. They are very slim models or even BEZEL - LESS (higher end) with all features within descent budget.

Just checked at my nearby store..The Sony 2012 Range has a huge reduction in price. The reduction is from 5K to 10K.
I check for the below products.

Hi folks..

Yesterday I went to a shop in Bangalore. They showed me a notification from LG India to dealers, telling that they will not endorse online purchased TV for any warranty clauses. This was a shock to me. It is also true that there is no certificate provided to dealers like infibeam, flipkart, though they SAY it. So, warranty cant be claimed for those purchases. Hence I'm back to purchasing from shop mode. Shops are telling they dont have LG 42 LM6410 instead has got the 42LM6200. Also demoed the equivalent sibling from Panasonic TX-42ET5D. I wanted to know the best price I should bargain for these models. Im qouted 65000 Rs.
3D wilth 120 refresh rate, is showing some strains with fast movements are shown but very smooth with 200+ rate TV. But I dont know if i can get any passive TV in the same price range. Any thougths ?

Thanks. Any specific reason to choose the panasonic ?. I read that the FPR panels are the same in LG/panasonic. Also the voice in panasonic was muffled when demoed. In the reviews, they mentioned that the 3d presets are limited to 3 in panasonic.

I have seen the picture quality on ET5 being superior to LM6200. That's 2D. Not a fan of 3D, so can't comment. Whatever the differences will be minor.

Whether the Pana guys gives you the printer as a gift? Else it is no brainer to go for the Online. But online there is the risk is a bit higher.

Im finalyzing on LG 42LM6200 or LG 42LM6410 and the target is 60 to 62K.
But I see that many stores in bangalore dont have this models, telling discontinued. If they have, they are qouting 69000 Rs. ! IF anybody knows any deals on this old model, please reply ? Panasonic ET5 is also good for visual aspect, but dont have options as in LG like dual play, magic motion remote control option, more apps etc.

I had seen the 6410 around 65k a month back at croma. Also consider the new w670 and w650 models by sony.
