I too have 78 rpm record for karumbu. Never dreamt it would be in Ep format. Does the next side feature the the song of sabitha choudury or p susheela?

Wow, that is a news, a 1973 78 RPM. Good one.
I remember seeing the the other side with P susheela song. I left the station yesterday... any way will confirm it later.

During school days, Just like we used to wait for the "Life size" "Bombay Dyeing" Calendar and "Sun Magazine" Calender, we eagerly wait to see the "Hits of the Year" LP record too. We used to get the information from Magazines like "Sun", "Illustrated Weekly" etc or even ask our elder ones to visit a local dealer and get information from HMV catalog etc. Then we debate over it..... Good fun... this habit made us to look for the Music Directors, Lyricists etc...and memorize the details...
May be that habit/hangover, made me to hunt and collect "Hits of the Year" LPs later.....

Isn't Jal Bin Machhli... in EPS? I have the ringed Odeon release, which mentions "Electronically Processed for Stereo." The sound is the same hollow one with echo effect, which we hear in other such EPS soundtracks.

Sorry, I was mistaken. Jal Bin Machhli was pure stereo, not the ERS.

Recently wify visited an apparel showroom on MG Road, Trivandrum and found these framed records on the store's wall. The store had a vintage theme to it. Here are some pics which she shared. The model in the pics is my elder son, Joshua.

Two eps were released for Aaradhanai. One was a plain front cover showing lamps and showering of flowers and back cover with stills of Suman , Nizhlagal ravi and sumalatha, Other i too dont have the cover.
