If you import/buy Blu-rays from abroad then the answer is YES. But if you buy Indian Blu-rays then Region C is sufficient.
Youcan buy Region Free OR Region A and B player individually. Region C is not required as 99.9% Indian BDs are all regions, means you can play them on above mentioned Region A or B player.
I do have chances of getting 3 blu ray from abroad... I would also like to know whats the best source of getting 3d region free 3d blu drive....and whats the cost of getting one?
If you can accommodate two players, try and get one of region A and one of region B. This was advised by FM just4kix many times. I have the same.
A lot of what is available on eBay India is from Malaysia which is region A and same voltage as India. I bought my region A player from eBay India and region B player from Amazon UK.
Players available here are region C. There are hardly any region C coded Blu rays.
