hello, I am planning to sell my 32 inch LG HD Ready flat screen TV, which is 5 years old. TV is in very good working condition and never had any problems in the last 5 years.
Can anyone suggest me the resale value for my TV.

Thanks You.

Ok I will try to help you with a formula. Assuming the average life is an lcd tv to be 8 years. (you are free to make your own judgement.) apply the following formula.
Market price of new hd ready lg X life remaining /total life of TV. Which gives 20000 X 3/8= 7.5K.
PS: I am writing this to pass my time. Use this formula at your own risk. ;-)

Its my wild guess that it will fetch between 7 to 8k max.
Reason being most of the early adopters went 32" 5 years back as bigger were quite costly that time and now most of them are looking for upgrade. So there are many sellers now (read more supply)
Now a days a basic HD ready sub-brand costs around 17-20K brand new and most of the people consider them as a bedroom TV and not willing to spend on top brands.

Unfortunately used electronics (commonly available) does not have re-sale value unless they enter into collector's choice or has a prestige value.

Really appreciate your inputs, Josedandrew & viper08 for your inputs. It is helpful for quoting a price now for my tv, when I am ready to sell it.

Thank you.
