Review of Crown XLS 1502 Class D amp

Hi,
Can anyone explain how crown xls 2502 have power rating 440@8 dual but, 1550 @8 bridge and 2400@4
Why letter exceed individual channel sum rating?
If i have 500 W 8 Ohms rating two woofer drivers , should i connect with stereo mode(8 Ohms) or bridge mode(parallel @ 4ohms) to get maximum driving juice?

Is this for listening to Stereo audio setup or for Home Theatre?

For Stereo - Maintain Stereo mode for stereo separation. (Ofcourse depends on how you have placed the subs in the room).
For Home Theatre - Bridged Mode (mono) is preferred. Because, spectacular multi-channel surround sound shines out with tight low-grunt bass. :-)
