I am planning to buy Sony 46HX800 in march last week, when was this model released? and also will there be new models coming during march or april? What would be the best price that i can get with freebies? I would be getting this in HYD. if I blu-ray player will that be of sony or any other brand. reply to questions would really help.

check this link for the new models I received this from another forum member in HFV. Some good models are to be launched in Feb. No indication of price though. I am also planning to buy a tv but yet to decide between plasmas or LED. After seeing this new Sony lineup I will wait till mid march to ee which products come in India.

I just installed the 46HX800 from Sony, today. Final price was 1.11 L without the Airtel connection, but with all the other freebies/accessories.

Hope it was a decent price? Planning to install an UPS for it now (I think a 600VA APC should do?).

Also planning to use a wifi router (in repeater mode) and connect it to the TV using one of the network cable sockets.

Its been discontinued since quite some time now. But if you are EXTREMELY lucky you might find one somewhere!!! But very less chances. A member here bought one for a very low price about 2 months back.

Not too sure but I think he got the 40" for about 50k

better 3d wise than most post hx800.The EX range,are not great at 3d but if 3d is not a concern,take your pick.Remember this along with 2 other were sonys 3d launch,good luck with getting 1.There might be a few demo models left??
