Sony W950A - Final say before purchase

Hello All,

I purchased the TV on Friday, got it mounted as well as demo happened on the same day. 1.25 is what i paid.

Need to say awesome TV, awesome quality :)

I checked the usage hours
it was all 00000000000 - 0000000000009 - 000000000000

So i think, mine is a fresh piece :)

Thats it, thanks all for helping me decide

Congrats on your new purchase man...however ... I just bought the little brother... W650A..... now wanted to check the usage hours.... can you kindly tell me how to do that ?? The standard process specified in hifivision for Bravia LCD is not working for W650A..... so I wonder if there is something specific for W series ..... thanks in advance ....

Its the same process:

Switch off your TV
take the long remote and do the following in quick succession.

Display (I+)
Number key 5
Volume - (minus)
Power Button

You should be able to get the necessary detail.

Hi,
I have bought SONY W950A last week. I am unable to check the TV usage hours. I could not find any Display button on the remote to proceed further (Display --> 5-->Volume(-)). I need urgent help because I seriously doubt that it might be the display unit.

Regards,
Sandeep

Search for a button on your remote with i+ written on it. It is placed above the options button and to the right of SEN button. Thats your display button.

Thanks for confirming about 'Display' .

However, when I press I+ and then '5', TV starts and then pressing volume key just reduces the volume.

No usage data is being displayed.

Am I missing any step?

Kindly help me.

Sandeep
