Speakers for home theatre

Hello everyone!

I intend to install a 5.1.2 home theatre set up in my den room of 12 by 12 feet.

I have already picked up a ONKYO TX-NR-656 receiver and a pair of Micca M-8C 8 inch 2 way in-ceiling speakers (to be used for the ATMOS effect) from the US and I'm only left with the 5.1 now.

Can someone suggest good satellite speakers that I can use for my room? Looking for wall mounted speakers preferably as don't have too much space for book shelves or towers.

My usage will primarily be for movies and music; 85:15. I will be installing a projector (BenQ W1070) and a 100 inch screen as well.

What is your budget for 5.1 speakers? There are lots available in the satellite category....

If you are on a tight budget, you could look at pre owned stuff available in Hifi Ads or olx....some real good stuff

No those won't fit in that budget. If you want everything at one go in that budget, look at wharfedale dx1se or tannoy tfx 5.1. Better would be to start with a pair of bookshelves plus subwoofer. Add center and surrounds later when budget permits

This is not coming in my budget! I heard the Harman Kardon HKTS 30 and quite liked the sound. Any reviews on it?

If you like the sound, go for it.

If the sound is fine for your ears, pick it up, after all you are the end user.

If you are open to pre owned, this will work out fine for the area you have specified and easily pair well with the AVR.....wall mountable speakers....compact neat sub
