S sir.. is there any problem in that??
Great. Please don't call me Sir. It's too big a word for me to carry. I am just a fellow enthusiast trying to help out with what ever little knowledge I have gained for this very forum.

That is a good sub, however I would still suggest you wait for a while before buying the sub. Get the speakers, burn them in, get used to them and then look for sub if you feel like needing one.Sure bro... thn along with polk rti a3,shal i go with psw 110 sub?? Also what is the model number for centre speaker in rti series??
Thank u sir.. i lov listen to music mostly and occationally watching movies and videos. Initially i decided to buy avr and front speakers.also, for good hearing experience, along with front speakers,i need to buy sub or centre speakers?? At present i hav a limited budjet. So i opted to buy surrounds later.
Okay so it's going to be a mixed bag of things. I would suggest you go ahead with your initial plan of a receiver and get a pair of bookshelves. You could then go ahead with getting front, centre and sub as you understand the system better. The current ones can be moved to the rear. This is known to be one of the best ways to build a good system over time.
My suggestion would be Marantz with Polk audio tsx series, Q acoustics 1000 or 2000 series speakers. You could also keep an eye on forum classified for some good deals as well as olx and Quikr.

Hai mash.. first a great thanx to all the fo?om members.after lots and lots of research and confusion, finally end up with buying marantz nr 1506 with polk rti a3.. waiting for the product arrival..fingers crossed..
Congratulations. Those are very good components. Being a user of Marantz 1504, I can tell your 1506 will server you very well.
Where did you buy from and at what price?

Congrats on your purchase.
These are great bookshelf speakers and so can be mounted but again depends on space etc....if you have a unit to place them (L+R) it will make better sense and also sound better.....
For speaker placement, you can google it in images and see what works better for your ears....everyone has different tastes and requirements...also depends on what furniture etc is there in the room.....accordingly the sound will travel and bounce.....
Ideally you should get a pair of speaker stands. Placing on the floor should be totally avoided. The height of the speaker should be such that the tweeter is more or less at the same height as listeners ears.Thank u sir.it is very small room.shall i place the speakers on concrete floors?? Or may i have to mount them on wall?

That's good to know you are happy with the sound. That is all that matters. 10k for stands? Are they gold plated? You can build your own stands and they will work quite well too. Should not cost you more that 2-3k along with some physical effort. Look up this forum for threads on diy stands, there are many members who have built their own stands.Hai bro I am mounting them on the wall,as i am not interested in spending 10k for stands... after initial hearing experience, i am very happy with the output,as the clarity is so good and there is good bass also..while watching movies, thd voices seem to be on lower side.overall happy .
