Suggestions for Optical Cables

What all have you picked up as of date?

Title just asks for optical cable, but looks like an entire setup is being built.

Hi. yeah I'm building an entire setup. I've Diamond Mishra by IndiQ already ordered and I'll receive them by fourth week of May. For integrated amp, I'm considering buying Marantz PM 6007, for network streamer ifi Zen Stream + Topping P50 power supply [alot of people claiming, it wil make good difference[. I've not ordered anything else except the bookshelves until now and just looking for the feedbacks or any changes I can/should make in case I'm making some blunder with my setup.

Oh alright. Thats wonderful.

Do order speaker stands. I would pick Wiim Pro Plus instead and skip on the P50 (for now). Also, I would look for a slightly more balsy amp. Check out the O&B power amps. You can use Wiim as a preamp (comes with a remote) and get a dedicated Preamp if you feel the need for one later on.

Hi MaSh,
I'm sorry for the late reply as was too busy with some work of mine. Thank you for your suggestions and I think I'll skip P50 for now and think about it later while upgrading. Today my diamond mishras are shipped, so it reminded to come back here. I'm sure O&B with decent preamp would sound wonderful but as a beginner I think PM6007 will be well in budget and less headache for me xD. As I'll learn more about hifi and experience it myself, I think I can upgrade for the better in the future. Again, thanks alot for your input. Means alot.

Also, Would you please suggest any budget coaxial cable (as PTP mentioned, it'll be better than digital toslink) from Amazon/or any other marketplace.

Is this your existing setup or your proposed set up? If this is your proposed setup I would recommend ifi zen stream instead of wiim pro and coax spdif for digital interface instead of toslink. If wiim pro is already in your chain you may still consider a coax spdif instead of toslink. If you are very particular about using only toslink then you may go ahead with optical cables from MX for budget option. If you are OK with high budget cables you may consider glass fibre cables like lifatec or dh labs glass master.
Hi PTP, can you please suggest any budget coaxial to connect streamer and PM6007?

Might be a noob question, can we loosely coil a optical cable like in the following image.

Please note the above cable is only 1m. I plan to use 2m cable. Will there be any degradation in sound quality by coiling like this?

i have the QED optical cable. I have the QED reference optical quartz. I have used them for 6 years now, Cant say this has made a big difference in sound quality but has worked well when the others have failed along the way

Bluerigger cables are also good, have been using coax & optical for some devices and haven't faced any issue.

Yes you can, but don't make it coil with a very small diameter. Your's is fine. Optical cables work on total internal reflection for the light to reach from one end to another. If you bend the cable at right angle, there will be loss of the intensity of light reaching the other end. Optical cables made of glass will break inside while those made of plastic can tolerate sharper bends.
