Sun Direct HD Connection

I have a Sun Direct SD Connection and planning to upgrade to HD Connection. I usually watch only SD Channels so I just wanted to understand if i change the set top box , does that improve the Audio/ Video quality of Non HD channels ? I know the new Sun Direct STB has HDMI Cables So if I use the HDMI cable to my full HD LED TV it should improve the clarity ?..Sun Direct customer care people are claiming that it will improve five times. Not sure please advice..

Yes there is a definite improvement in the picture quality but would not say 5 times.

I have been using SUN HD for the past 1 year and all the HD channels are really good. Also most of the programs in SUN TV are now in HD format especially the new movies are telecast in HD with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

Thanks Mr narenkum..Please explain me the Audio clarity of normal channels like Sun TV, Jaya TV , Asianet , Surya etc will be better in HD Set Top Box? Have you seen the difference in Normal Setr Top box and HD Set top box..thanks..
