Check subwoofer crossover frequency range.Usually it won't damage even if kept 250hzs.Default setting is 80 hz. Does 100 - 120 or more hz can damage the sub? just curious.

Thanks on giving me another perspective (%). I am curious if a price of 1.08lakh an inflated price due to Covid or is this a regular price.20% off on an Svs is a gr8 deal,go for it..
I am looking at PB2000 Pro for both Music and Movies. Any idea whether PB2000 Pro is also not good for music?Any first hand user reviews on the sb3000. Has it got good mid bass? Is it equally good for movies and music. Had the pb 2000 earlier. Didn't like it for music.
Setting the Subs crosswover above 80hz wont damage the sub but still it is not recommended because it will cause Subwoofer Localization, meaning that you can tell where the low frequency is coming from, which will defeat the purpose of a subwoofer and have adverse effect on the sound quality.Default setting is 80 hz. I hope it is not late. If you have a large space go for PB2000 Pro else SB2000 Pro is good. I have purchased PB2000 Pro and it's more noisy (noisy i mean very powerful) I guess. Thanks on giving me another perspective (%). THX recommended cut off frequency for subwoofer is 80Hz (It's not the default setting). You can try 100 or 120 HZ and check for any improvements in vocals. Especially if you feel the male voice is fuller with a higher cut off then you can settle for it. It all depends on your equipment.Default setting is 80 hz. Nope, I upgraded because after serving me for 5 years my Velodyne EQMax12 left me for heavenly abode. Plate burnt up. So, instead of repairing it, my dealer suggested to for a new one and i got a discount too. With the rates & deals around many from my friend circle are planning to update to the Pro series barely even using their existing PB / SB subs for a year. It seems the Upgrade bug is biting well for some
It is 18*12 plus 28*12 open space. Living room and Dinning room combined. I installed in Living room.May I know your room dimensions ?

Music ranch JayanagarCan anyone recommend a SVS dealer in Bangalore where I can audition the sub? Thanks.
For close to 1800-2000 Cubic feet probably SB 1000 would be pushed too hard to produce a good SPL, it may even reach clipping stage unless your average listening master volume is no more than 60db.hey SB1000 (non pro) owners, do you mind telling me your sub volume and room size?
My room is 20x10 and my dial is at about 1-2pm (~65-70%) (Sub level on the AVR is set to 0db), does this sound normal?
