My idea is to use three sources CD Player/Computer/Turntable interchangeably. These devices will be connected to a single amplifier (or maybe one more later).

Any ideas on some affordable switching boxes that can be used to change the source easily. I'd prefer to get it locally. What are the preferred brands and what should I consider during the purchase?

Ideally, it should not require additional power supply. A reference device is http://www.beresford.me/products/TC-7240.html

What stereo amplifier do you have? I believe a decent amplifier has multiple sources that can be connected all at once and you can change the source with the remote or manually based on your requirement or am I missing something...

Search for a passive pre-amp. There was one for sale on the forum itself sometime back. Try finding out if that is still available.

@ Shivam Thanks
@ Kratu - which amplifier you have / you are planning?
As most of the intergrated amps except maybe topping has multiple (2,3 or more inpluts) many amps and especially all vintage one are equipped with good phono stage .... also dedicated pre amps and especially passive pre amps are expensive .... so what is your budget and existing / planned gear?

Thanks for the info. I'm using a headphone amp (Little Dot MkIV). The source is a NAD CD player. I've also been using my Mac as a source. Right now plugging/unplugging the RCA interconnects is a pain; and therefore I'm only using the CD player.

My setup is currently headphone based. However, I might be adding a speaker system and integrated amp in the future. So, it helps to have the flexibility to switch between headphone and speakers while using the same sources as mentioned earlier.

I'd like to a simple solution that doesn't colour the signal. Just simple switching is needed.
